Hi, I’m Eric.
Every great celebration deserves a dance floor full of energy — but most DJs and bands are stuck behind their booth or on stage, unable to bring their energy directly to the crowd. That’s where I come in.
My story begins as an immigrant kid in Canada who could barely spell “Monday.” With no money or connections, I turned to music to build a future for my family. What started as survival soon became passion — teaching me how to connect, lead, and persevere.
Years of being a high school band teacher taught me that performance isn’t so different from leading a class: keep the energy up, manage the chaos, and sell the vision with the biggest smile.
Now, with the same dedication, I don’t just play the sax — I create energy, hype, and unforgettable moments that your guests feel, live, and share.

"Sax with Eric" is a solo performance with high-quality backing tracks. However, I am the bandleader for Vancouver’s premier party band, The Phonix, and we offer packages that combine both for a full-day entertainment solution.
What kind of music do you play?
I specialize in everything from soulful R&B to party classics. My repertoire is fully customizable to your event's specific needs, whether you want classic jazz standards or modern pop hits.
What are the technical requirements for the performance?
I provide all my own professional sound equipment, including speakers and wireless microphones. A standard power outlet from the venue would amazing!
Can you take song requests?
Yes! I work with you during the planning process to craft the perfect vibe. I can also take some requests on the fly during the event to keep the energy high, especially when there’s a DJ or a Band.
